The PSL's first ever music album 'Taranay' is out now

Pakistan's largest local sports league, the PSL, has begun and this time around, audiences have an entire music album to groove to!

People weren't too keen on the first song, 'Groove Mera' and many people reminisced about the old versions and their rhythms. In fact, the debate got so heated that celebrities rushed in to the defence of the singers and creators. With five more songs having just been released, audiences now have a chance to change their minds about PSL songs.

Available on PSL's official YouTube channel, music album 'Taranay' has six songs altogether, featuring fresh young artists and some seasoned professionals.

Alongside bands Janoobi Khargosh, Khumariyan, and Lyari Underground are Talal Qureshi and Maanu x Rozeo lending a mix of traditional vocals, rap and catchy beats.

The music video for 'Groove Mera' premiered on February 6 and gathered 2.5 million views on YouTube. The first song of the album featured Naseebo Lal alongside renowned artists Young Stunners and Aima Baig.

'Groove Mera' was performed at the recent PSL opening ceremony along with performances by Imran Khan and Atif Aslam.
