Writer Asma Nabeel is working on a movie about breast cancer

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and a Pakistani movie has been announced that aims to tackle the subject.

Crew Motion Pictures, the production house behind 2018's Maan Jao Na has unveiled their next feature film called Fly.

According to their statement, "We are honoured to work on this noble subject and have taken this challenge to capture for the big screen. A taboo subject and an issue that’s increasing in our country. The movie is dedicated to all the females and breast cancer warriors to support their battle for lives and encourage them to fight against this brutal disease."

The cast and crew has not yet been revealed, although we know that Asma Nabeel, writer of 2018 film Maan Jao Na and dramas like Khuda Mera Bhi Hai, Khaani and Surkh Chandni is writing the movie.

Asma, who herself has fought and beat cancer, when she revealed the news shared: "It’s the urge to do more and more for the cause that I am associated with. I always give credit to my cancer days for giving so much power to my pen and now it’s my time to give tribute to the most tough days of my life"

"The thought that was always in my mind that what more I can do to spread awareness and to talk about the most unspeakable in fact taboo subject of breast cancer. And that was the trigger to start this film script."

According to Nabeel, Fly is "a love story that will melt your heart".
