Aamir Liaquat says he's sick, not sacked from PTV's Ramazan transmission

After rumours that Aamir Liaquat Hussain has been fired from hosting PTV's Ramazan show Hamara Ramazan began doing the rounds yesterday, the TV host told viewers that he missed today's Sehri transmission for health reasons.

Hussain claimed in a tweet late last night that he will be back to host today's Iftar transmission as per his usual routine.

Yesterday, rumours were circulating that Hussain has been allegedly sacked from PTV's Ramazan transmission due to rude behaviour towards the channel's staff and management. His tweet about his absence from Sehri transmission appears to respond to the rumours but does not directly reference them.

Aamir Liaquat has long been one of the most controversial figures of Ramazan TV with many shocking incidents aired on live TV during his shows.
