Watch this TV reporter throw shade at Lahore's local government in a very creative way

Journos report on dismal news all the time, but not all of them have as much fun as this Dunya News reporter while he covered the Lahore flooding this past week.

Sitting inside a pink inflatable pool in the middle of a flooded street surrounded by pink and yellow floaties, he declares, *"Mein kisi swimming pool mein nahi, balkay road kay kinaray jahan par pani bhara hai. Aur Lahore mein jaga jaga pani khara hai. Wahan par maujood hoon aur kaafi enjoy kar raha hoon.

Translation: "I'm not in a swimming pool, I'm in the middle of the road flooded with water and so are other parts of the city..."

And guess what? He's "enjoying it."

Yep.

Oh and he's throwing major shade at the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), since their efforts to drain the water off the roads have been "nakaam" (unsuccessful).

And Lahoris, he wants you to lighten up and take his advice:

"Gali muhaulon mein pool toh ban chukay hain, toh yakeenan yeh water pool ley kar us mein enjoy karein kyunkay un ka pani jaldi toh khatam honay wala nahi hai kyunkay wasa ki machines jo hain woh nakaam nazar aa rahi hain."

"Now that you already have pools, why not enjoy these water toys because the water isn't going to drain anytime soon."

How's that for making the best of a rainy situation?
