How to be lazy and still look good

Just because you're lazy doesn't mean you want to look like you don't care.

Everyone wants to look polished but no one wants to get up super early to get fully decked up every single day. So fret not, get your beauty sleep and use these tips to look like you've actually put thought into your look:

1) Invest in men's kurtas

Rabia Butt working those men's kurtas like they were made for her!

Wait, hear us! Men's kurtas have a lot going for them. For one, they have pockets!

But no, that's just another added bonus. Oversized kurtas get our vote because they just look effortlessly stylish.

You can buy one in a range of colours and just pair it with various tights or culottes and you're good to go.

2) Oversized sunglasses

No time for concealer? No problem. Just slip these on and cover half your face and ooze with the nonchalant attitude of a movie star.

If it's good enough for these supermodels, it's good enough for us.

Though don't do this indoors or anything, people will just think you're weird...

3) Neon bags

Neon add a statement to your attire and they're effortless to work around.

Well, neon anything, really.

That's the thing about statement pieces; they can turn your entire look around. And our favourite happens to be some neon arm candy.

Pick up an orange or electric blue bag and it'll add a pop of colour to your ensemble and voila, you'll instantly look more on trend.

4) Bold lipstick

This one is a game-changer; it's the easiest way to give any outfit a face-lift of sorts. The key to wearing traffic-stopping shades like a bright fuchsia or fire-engine red during the day is to skip all other makeup to throw the attention on your mouth.

Some reds we love are Ruby Woo by Mac and Mary Jo by Kylie Cosmetics

So even if you're skipping concealer (like we mentioned earlier!), just pair it with oversized sunglasses and dab some of that colour on your cheeks and blend, blend, blend.

5) Go all black everything

Black is empowering. Black is mysterious. Black is... a lazy person's best friend.

You don't have to worry about matching it to the right shade. Layering it is easy and most comfort wear looks upgraded in black. Seriously, you could wear loose jammies and in all black people would ask you which high-end store you got 'em from.

Not to mention, black is slimming!

You look chic, classy and no one knows how comfortable you are rocking your monochromatic look.

6) Bright scarves

Sometimes you get too comfortable, and you're stuck at a festive event. Should you wear a difficult dress with unmanageable accessories? We say nay!

Add a pop of colour to your outfit with a printed scarf

A bright scarf gives off a very '50s glamour look and it's no effort whatsoever!

7) Buy separates in block colours

Why stress over putting together an outfit when you can hop onto one of the current hottest trends, and wear matching separates instead? It takes all the guesswork out of getting dressed, which is just what we lazy girls need.

Kim K revived this trend and boy, are we grateful

There's just something about matching tops and bottoms, it makes you look pulled together with minimal effort.
