7 thoughts we had while watching Janaan's trailer

The trailer for Reham Khan's romantic comedy (or so we thought), Janaan is finally here.

The movie's cast includes Bilal Ashraf, Ali Rehman Khan and Armeena Khan in lead roles and has been written by funnyman Osman Khalid Butt. It was earlier reported that the movie aimed to show a softer side of Pakistan and Pakhtun culture but we're not so sure the trailer conveys that.

It's pretty confusing from the get go; the teaser starts off proudly and loudly declaring that it's made in Pakistan and the next shot is a bird's eye view of... Toronto? Or is it New York? Either way, somewhere that's not Pakistan.

Here are seven thoughts we had while watching the trailer:

1) Why is Ali Rehman Khan's character so obsessed with his body... and will we ever get to see it?

All his claims about girls going "oh my god" after seeing his physique or that his abs are irresistible aren't backed by hard-hitting facts. We need to see it to believe it.

2) Bilal Ashraf is trying to make sleeveless vests a thing.

Stop trying to make sleeveless vests happen, Bilal Ashraf, they're not going to happen. Or atleast, we hope not.

3) Why does Armeena Khan look ready to go to a shaadi all the time?

We're getting those Bin Roye vibes again.

4) Oh great, a love triangle.

Man, that's a tough choice. Totally feel bad for Armeena Khan's character...NOT.

5) Woah, what just happened?

From keeping up with the 'Khan-dashians' at wedding festivities, the movie takes a dark turn towards the second half. Wait, we thought this was a rom-com!

Seriously though, what is up with all those button down vests?

6) There seems to be a lot of bro hugging going on.

Still don't know if these two are actually related by blood or of the "brother from another mother" category.

7) Don't mind us, we'll just be in a puddle over in the corner, thanks to Bilal Ashraf's dimples.

Eye candy alert.

Janaan will hit cinemas worldwide on 13 September this year.
