Since his pop star days, Shehzad Roy is now seen more in do-gooder mode, running his network of life-changing schools and hosting TV shows that question the status quo.

We dug into the Images' archives and unearthed pictures of a young Roy. Of his first experiences of singing his heart out, smouldering on camera and hanging out with his famous friends. It's all that made him the star that he is today. Have a look:
