Approximately seven months after Shaista Lodhi hosted her first episode of PTV's Morning At Home, the show is returning with a new(ish) host, Juggun Kazim. The actor worked hosted Morning At Home for 10 whole years before leaving the channel in 2019. She's now back.

In a conversation with Images, Kazim said that she had resigned after 10 years and after two to three months they had replaced her with Nadia Khan and then Lodhi. Kazim is now taking the reins back and returning as the host of Morning At Home.

"I was asked to come back on board so I agreed. I'm very glad that I did, because you know I have experience of almost a decade with PTV and it was amazing. Obviously PTV is the mother of all institutions and at the end of the day there's no other platform or forum better than PTV to host a morning show because there is a lot of stuff done for ratings that you're not asked to do and I think that's pretty awesome."

She also said that the show will focus more on content and their objective this time around is infotainment. "One thing will be the main focus of the show and that is highlighting Pakistan, including the 75th year celebration of Pakistan on Independence Day. There are a lot of things that we will focus on, such as talking about children, their health as well as women, their diet etc."

She went on to explain that morning shows, at the end of the day, are morning shows and there's nothing new that one can do. Kazim wants to be part of the wheel rather than reinventing it. "I have a record of doing the most live shows on PTV to date. I've done even more than the late Tariq Aziz."

She said that she will start hosting Morning At Home starting from July 18. She hopes the viewers enjoy the content she and her team are going to put forward and promised that the show ill be different. It's going to be a better "screen-watching experience for viewers," she said.

Lodhi also confirmed her exit with a tweet, saying, "My morning show journey at PTV ends! All the very best to the new team and Pakistan television Network."

Kazim currently has a show on A Plus Entertainment Morning With Juggun. She is also going to be seen along with Gohar Rasheed in her upcoming film Shot Cut which will be releasing this Eidul Azha.

She is an old timer with quite a senior age. Lost most of her sheen and acceptability.

Not a good host, her voice is too heavy and her words not perfect when she delivered through her tung, please find better host man or woman prefer age 20 to 25. Thanks.

Our morning shows are a disaster. Hosted by loser aunties who should have retired 10-20 years ago.
