‘I blacked out and fainted’: YouTuber Rahim Pardesi recalls harrowing assault by four men

Youtuber Rahim Pardesi, who was allegedly assaulted by four drunk men recently, has shared details of the harrowing incident with his fans in a new video. The incident occurred while Pardesi was returning from Jhelum, accompanied by a friend who witnessed the incident — at least some of it.

“We were coming back from Jhelum. A car was following us and we thought it was a fan or someone taking the same route as us, so we ignored it,” recalled Pardesi in the video. Pardesi is a popular YouTuber, with 1.22 million subscribers on the platform. He is known for his cross-dressing comedy videos, in which he plays the character Nasreen.

“Eventually, we stopped for refreshments. I was standing outside and he [Pardesi’s friend] had gone inside the shop. Some five to 10 minutes had passed and the car that was tailing us stopped in front of me. Four boys got off of it and began running towards me. Again, I thought they were excited fans. But by the time I realised they wanted to hurt me, it was too late,” he said.

“The first guy came swinging at me and I grabbed him. Another, who was wearing knuckles, hit me on the head. I blacked out and fainted. I don’t remember what happened after that.” The attack left the YouTuber with injuries, including visible bruising and trauma.

His friend, who arrived on the scene moments later, recounted the brutal nature of the assault, revealing that the attackers fled upon seeing him. Despite the ordeal, Pardesi reassured his fans that he was receiving medical attention and staying strong. “I am bruised but the doctor handled that. There’s nothing to worry about,” he said.

Maintaining a composed demeanour, Pardesi expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support that has been pouring in for him since he shared disturbing images of his injuries on June 12. That’s when he initially revealed that he had been assaulted.

“Whoever did this, whoever’s the mastermind behind all of this, will be caught,” added the YouTuber. “Just keep me in your prayers and we will carry on with our content,” he promised. “People are investigating this. We’ll keep you posted,” his friend shared.

In his Instagram post, the 35-year-old had said that he had been assaulted by “some drunk goons” but “thankfully didn’t get hurt too much.” He vowed that those responsible would face consequences. “Whoever did this will be caught sooner or later.”
