Barbadian singer Rihanna teased a small clip of her song ‘Lift Me Up’ on Thursday for Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever that marks her music comeback after six years of being absent from the field. A day later, the song has arrived and netizens have been moved to tears by her strong vocals.

The song dropped at the same time with five versions — a visualiser with 1.5 million views, lyric video with 228,000 views, audio with 457,000 views, an instrumental with 72,000 views and Wakanda style lyric video with 228,000 views in seven hours. The singer also took to Instagram to share a short clip of what could be the music video that is yet to release.

Six years ago, Rihanna released ‘Love on the Brain’. ‘Lift Me Up’ marks her much-awaited comeback, one the singer had hinted at at multiple public events, including award shows and Instagram live Q&A sessions.
