Tom Hiddleston and fiancée Zawe Ashton are expecting their first child together

Ladies and gentlemen, Hollywood actor Tom Hiddleston is expecting his first child with fiancée Zawe Ashton — Loki is going to be a dad!

On Wednesday, Ashton debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the premiere of her upcoming film Mr. Malcolm’s List in New York City. A source confirmed to Page Six that the Velvet Buzzsaw actor was pregnant.

Hiddleston was not present at the premiere but Ashton was not alone — she was joined by costars Freida Pinto, Sope Dirisu, Theo James and Sianad Gregory, and director Emma Holly Jones.

After months of speculation following the 2022 BAFTA Awards where a diamond ring was spotted on the Handmaid's Tale actor's hand, the Thor star finally confirmed that the rumours were true. Earlier this month, Hiddleston, 41, admitted he was engaged to Ashton, 37.

“I’m very happy,” he told the Los Angeles Times on June 14, three months after the former Betrayal costars sparked the engagement rumors.

The couple met while starring in the 2019 play Betrayal and have kept their relationship out of the spotlight ever since. In September 2021, they made their first formal public appearance through their red carpet debut at the Tony Awards in New York City. The Loki star, who has remained relatively private about his and Ashton’s romance, previously dated actor Susannah Fielding from 2008 to 2011 as well as Taylor Swift in 2016.
