Minal Khan and Ahsan Mohsin Ikram kick off their wedding festivities with a dholki

Social media has been abuzz with videos and pictures from actors Minal Khan and Ahsan Mohsin Ikram's dholki, an event that marked the beginning of their wedding festivities.

Minal and Ikram took to Instagram to share pictures from their dholki that was held Tuesday night. Minal also shared a photo on Instagram of the couple lovingly embracing each other. They both wore orange hued ensembles for a coordinated couple's look. "My forever and ever," she wrote in the captions.

Ikram shared a photo of himself and Khan as well.

Ikram's waistcoat was from Nauman Arfeen while Minal was wearing an outfit from Maya Ali's clothing line, Maya Pret.

The event's photographer — Maha's Photography — shared an adorable video of the couple of the hour on her Instagram account.

Minal's sister and fellow actor Aiman Khan enjoyed the special occasion alongside husband Muneeb Butt. She was spotted wearing a purple ensemble. Aiman and her daughter Amal were also wearing Maya Pret.

Minal clearly had as much fun at her dholki as everyone else. She was seen hitting the dance floor with her adorable niece Amal where they busted some killer moves.

Little Amal also posed adorably for a photo session of the couple, joined by her parents.

Minal and Ikram announced their baat pakki in May and were officially engaged in June. Their nikah ceremony is set for September 10.
