Yasir Hussain spills the beans on his directorial debut
After working in front of the camera and making a name for himself, actor Yasir Hussain is ready for his turn in the director's chair.
Hussain has shared glimpses of his upcoming directorial debut on social media by posting pictures with his leading lady Mansha Pasha, exclaiming how glad he was to be working with her.
"This red cap is not an ordinary cap. Director’s cap hai bhai [It's a director's cap bro]. It was lovely directing you. Amooman achy log bohot achy actor hoty hain [Generally, good people turn out to be good actors]," he said.
Later in a conversation with Images, the Karachi Se Lahore star revealed that his upcoming project has been written by Zanjabeel and is being executively produced by Farhan Gohar.
Apart from Pasha, Fahad Sheikh, Noor-ul-Hassan, Yasir Taj, Fareeha Jabeen and Maham Aamir will be seen in leading roles. The 26-episode series will be available to watch on UrduFlix as well as Aaj Entertainment.
According to Hussain, "the story is about a koel who gives her eggs in someone else's nest." He revealed that Pasha will be an adopted child, and Huma Mir, who will be on screen after a 12-year gap, will be playing her mother in the series.
Emphasising that writer Zanjabeel has done a brilliant job, he said the story is very interesting and he is very excited to be working on it.
