Sangeeta tests positive for coronavirus

Veteran actor and filmmaker Parveen Rizvi, better known as Sangeeta, has tested positive for coronavirus and is quarantined in her Lahore home.

She shared with Images that she's got a persistent cough and can't talk much.

"I'm treating myself at home, taking the medicines prescribed by my doctor but I'm in a lot of pain," she said.

Recently, actors Mahira Khan, Behroze Sabzwari, Neelam Muneer and Sanam Jung, along with her 4-year-old daughter, also contracted the novel virus.

Previously, some other big names from within the industry who got and beat Covid-19 include Usman Mukhtar, Rubina Ashraf, Vasay Chaudhry, Alyzeh Gabol and Saheefa Jabbar Khattak to name a few.
