If Sophie Turner can wear a facemask while giving birth, you can wear one outside your home
If you're someone struggling to keep up with Covid-19 protocols, Sophie Turner is here to remind you — if she can do it, so can you!
The 24 year old, popular for her character as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, took to social media to express her distaste regarding people who don't wear a face-mask when they leave their homes.
"If I can wear a face mask while giving birth, you can wear a mask when you go Walmart — and that's the tea," she said, casually sipping from her black mug.
The star recently welcomed daughter Willa, with boy-band husband Joe Jonas. The couple is reportedly already thinking of expanding their family, the Daily Mail has reported.
According to the World Health Organisation, masks should be used as part of a comprehensive strategy of measures to suppress transmission and save lives.
Here are the basics of how to wear a mask:
- Clean your hands before you put your mask on, as well as before and after you take it off, and after you touch it at any time.
- Make sure it covers both your nose, mouth and chin.
- When you take off a mask, store it in a clean plastic bag, and every day either wash it if it’s a fabric mask, or dispose of a medical mask in a trash bin.
- Don’t use masks with valves.
