David Beckham and Victoria reportedly caught and battled Covid-19 months ago
One of the world's most famous power couples, David and Victoria Beckham had allegedly contracted coronavirus and battled it for months, after reportedly attending a series of networking functions, oscillating between Britain and the United States.
Following the launch of Beckham's new football club, several of their staff also came down with Covid-19.
“It was an absolute nightmare scenario," shared a friend of the stars, as he spoke about the unfortunate situation.
"They attended a couple of swanky networking events as David had promotional duties, and were shaking hands and kissing fans and various club dignitaries. They then flew back to London, and were whisked straight to their Cotswolds mansion.”
The family had also held a lavish £100,000, 21st birthday bash for son Brooklyn on March 7 at their home in the UK, which was attended by the likes of his fiancee Nicola Peltz, Emma Bunton, Gordon and Tana Ramsay's daughter Holly as well as rapper Stormzy to name a few.
"When they returned, David started to feel ill and then Victoria developed a sore throat and high temperature," the source continued.
"Victoria really panicked and made the whole family quarantine rigidly for more than two weeks. She was utterly petrified they might be super-spreaders, and did all she could to minimise all future risk."
After observing a strict quarantine, both David and Victoria have been cleared by health authorities, and are now fit to resume their daily activities.
