Chris Evans sends special message to 6 year who saved little sister's life

Six year old Bridger Walker received 90 stitches after he jumped to rescue against a German Shephard who was going to attack his four-year old sister.

According to his aunt, little Walker had said "if someone was going to die, I thought it should be me."

Six years old and a hero, Bridger is getting love and appreciation from everyone for his extremely heroic act, including Captain America.

Chris Evans was among many of the celebrities who was just blown away by Bridger's bravery and made sure to send a lovely message to the brave boy, who just so happened to be wearing the right outfit for the moment!

"Pal, you're a hero, what you did was so brave, so selfless - your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother. Your parents must be so proud of you," he said.

He also added that he would be sending Bridger an original Captain America shield because he deserved it.

"Keep being the man you are, we need people like you. Hang in there, I know recovery might be tough, but based on what I've seen, I don't think there''s much that can slow you down."

Evans was one of many in Hollywood commending Bridger, with Anne Hathaway being one of the earliest to commend he little one, marvelling at his bravery and wishing him recovery.

"I’m not an Avenger, but I know a superhero when I see one," she posted. "I can only hope I’m half as brave in my life as you are in yours, Bridger. Wishing you an easeful recovery, and many cool looking rocks."⁣

And then many others followed suit.

Good job Bridger, you're restoring our faith in humanity! Now, someone get this boy a shield!⁣
