Mehwish Hayat confirms she doesn’t have coronavirus

Things are stressful enough these days as it is. Can we stop spreading misinformation and making it worse?

Mehwish Hayat clarified on her Twitter that she was not coronavirus positive even though the rumour mills were buzzing otherwise.

"Not true!!! I just wish that our media would be more responsible and check their facts before posting such stories," she said.

"Call me and check instead of posting anything you feel like for the sake of 'followers' and 'likes'. This has caused a great deal of distress to family and friends."

Previously, other stars from the media industry tested positive, including Rubina Ashraf, Nida Yasir, Abrar-Ul-Haq and the team of Mera Dil Mera Dushman.
