88-year-old anonymous donor gives Sindh government a million rupees to beat Covid-19

The coronavirus pandemic has really brought out the best and worst in people.

With Sindh in lockdown, it’s understandable that people are concerned but sometimes it gets alarming; we’ve heard enough cases of people emptying out stores, hoarding on groceries and making profit off selling sanitiser.

But where there is panic, there are also those who are out to do good and Murad Ali Shah gave us an example of one.

The Chief Minister took to Twitter to share the heartwarming news of an anonymous one million rupee donation to the Sindh Coronavirus Emergency Fund.

Shah also shared a note that came with donation which revealed the donor to be "a retired person of 88 years," and we're not crying, you are!

Shah said, "Such acts of kindness strengthen our resolve to continue fighting this challenge, & reassure us that humanity stands tall during such extraordinary times!"

We can't help but agree, it’s so nice to see such acts of kindness in difficult times. It's a reminder that good people still exist and we hope others will be inspired and follow suit!

It’s time we reciprocate the same positive energy back into our country and its people; play our role, stay home, wash our hands, and limit interactions with any elderly person at home (while of course sending them our virtual hugs and best wishes)!
