Life & Style editor, Nadia Faisal passes away

Senior entertainment journalist, editor and 'Pakistan's first VJ', Nadia Faisal has passed away after a long battle with cancer.

Her husband, Faisal Rafi announced the news on Twitter:

Nadia, who was also lovingly known as Nieni had been working in the media industry for two decades, out of which, 13 years were spent at Geo News. She was the head of the channel's entertainment desk.

Her funeral will be held today at Mubarak Masjid (near Sea View) at Zuhr time.
