Mika Singh isn't banned in India just yet

Mika Singh has made an appeal to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to not take strict action against him following his performance in Pakistan.

FWICE had banned the singer from recording, performing, acting and playback singing in India after videos of Singh performing at a private event in Karachi started making the rounds on social media.

Mika tweeted a video of BN Tiwari, president of FWICE, who mentioned receiving an apology from the singer and an appeal to be heard which has been approved.

Said Tiwari, "Mika is willing to listen to what FWICE has to say. He admits to making a mistake and is willing to apologise to the country but requests that we hear him out before taking any action."

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees is the mother body of all the 24 crafts of film-making.

Tiwari added, "We will have a meeting with [Singh] on Tuesday. Until then, there is no confirmed decision regarding him and his career."

As of now, there has been no such comment from The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA), which also boycotted the singer from their productions.
