Fawad Chaudhry's inappropriate joke about Pakistan's cricket coach didn't make us laugh

Minister of Science and Technology tweeted he's worried about Mickey Arthur as we're still mourning Bob Woolmer's death

As a nation, we're obsessed with cricket.

And we know that sometimes when cricket fever hits, sports banter can get intense, even personal. Like, when Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry tweeted a highly inappropriate joke after Afghanistan beat Pakistan by three wickets in a World Cup warm-up match:

"I'm concerned about Mickey Arthur [our current cricket coach], we still haven't stopped grieving Bob Woolmer," he wrote.

It's pretty unbecoming of a minister to make such insensitive "jokes" about former Pakistan cricket coach, Woolmer, who died suddenly after Pakistan was eliminated from the 2007 World Cup. It's also a pretty rude thing to say to someone who's alive, that you're concerned about their mortality.

Thankfully, some Twitter users also called him out on the crass nature of his tweet:
