Musharraf documentary 'Insha'Allah Democracy' just bagged a nomination by One World Media
Mo Naqvi's documentary Insha'Allah Democracy has just been nominated for a One World Media award.
The documentary, which heavily features former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, takes the viewer on the director Mohammed Ali Naqvi's personal journey of voting in the past Pakistani election as he discovers if "democracy is achievable in a country undergoing political and religious upheaval." The film, which took five years to make, also looks at Karachi’s evolution from the 1990s.
