Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi calls for film submissions for this year's World Culture Festival
Filmmakers from around the world are invited to send in their work for the festival which kicks off on Oct 29.
Riz Ahmed is set to star in upcoming drama Mughal Mowgli.
Variety reports that the actor will also be producing the music drama, which he has co-written with director Bassam Tariq.
The drama will follow the life of a British Pakistani rapper... so basically Riz Ahmed will play himself.
In the series, the rapper is set to go on his first world tour but is suddenly struck down with an illness that affects his big break.
Riz Ahmed won an Emmy for his performance in The Night Of and is also known for his work in Rogue One. He is one half of the duo Swet Shop Boys.
Director Bassam Tariq has won an award for Ghosts of Sugarland. We're interested to see how this duo will team up Mughal Mowgli.
