Chris Brown is being investigated for rape by French authorities

Chris Brown is in trouble with the law again.

The rapper is currently under investigation by French authorities after a 24-year-old woman claimed he sexually assaulted her in his hotel room between January 15 and 16. The woman said in the report that she and Brown met at a club located near Les Champs-Elysees. The report also claims the victim then followed Brown to his hotel, Le Mandarin Oriental, where the rape allegedly took place.

According to the French publication Closer, Paris parquet opened a case, and is currently investigating the woman complaints.

Brown has in the past landed himself in hot waters for violence against women: he pleaded guilty to assaulting his former girlfriend, Rihanna and model Liziane Gutierrez had also claimed that he punched her in the face.
