Faysal Quraishi worries about the impact of the removal of advance tax on foreign TV shows
The actor said the move would hurt people in the industry looking for jobs.
After the wrap-up of Meri Guriya comes another TV drama that will attempt to raise awareness about child sexual abuse.
Directed by Mazhar Moin and produced by iDream Entertainment, Haiwan will highlight the role of parents in keeping their children safe, i.e., 'my child, my responsibility'.
The storyline will follow what happens when the youngest daughter of a family goes missing. Faysal Quraishi and Savera Nadeem play the parents, while Sanam Chaudhry stars as their eldest daughter.
Speaking to Images, Faysal Quraishi said that the drama tries to highlight how "a slight oversight by parents can result in a life-long regret."
Written by Sara Savain Syed, Haiwan will begin airing on October 10 on ARY Digital.
