Anand Ahuja shares tips on surviving a long distance marriage

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja seem even more like #couplegoals when you learn that the two actually have a long distance marriage.

While Sonam is based in Mumbai for the movies, Anand's apparel and shoe store Bhane keeps him in Delhi.

"My work is based out of the capital," said Anand to Filmfare. "So Sonam and I will be shuttling between the two cities for the time being.”

While many couples shy away from the thought of a long distance relationship, Anand says it requires the same qualities as a conventional one - patience and romance. He said, “When it comes to marriage, small things matter a lot. We eat meals together, even if we are in different time zones, on Skype. We also actively make sure that we don’t go over two weeks without seeing each other.”

In case you didn't know, Sonam and Anand's romance also began long distance: “We would talk over the phone. It was seven weeks before we actually met. By then, we knew we were in love but (we) met in person to solidify it. At the end of the day, it's about being patient.”
