Pepsi Battle of the Bands warms up for Season 3 with this opening song

It's Pepsi Battle of the Bands time again!

Season 3 kicks off this Sunday, July 15. And we just got a reminder of the energy and buzz of the popular music competition with its opening song.

The song is a medley featuring last year's winning band Kashmir performing their original track 'Kaghaz Ka Jahaaz' and runner's-up Badnaam sang 'Aaj Kala Jora Pa Sadi Farmaish Pe'. The bands are joined in their performances by judges Fawad Khan and Meesha Shafi respectively.

The song is rounded off with Strings' 2003 World Cup track 'Hai Koi Hum Jaisa'. The segue to the track is awkward, but it makes for a fun watch as Meesha, Fawad and Kashmir join Strings on stage for the number.

For those who don't know, Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood are taking up last season's judges Shahi Hasan and Atif Aslam's spots on the panel.
