We took along a celebrity stylist for last-minute Eid shopping and here's what we found
Remember the time when Chand Raat was the occasion when you shopped your whole Eid look from clothes to chooris, shoes to earrings?
Who has the energy and stamina for that now, right?
Not us, we realised, when we hit the mall to do some last-minute Eid shopping yesterday. Let this be a lesson for all: Eid looks aren't exactly easy to shop off-the-rack, especially when everything you had your eyes on earlier is sold out.
Luckily, we had the help of a professional! Stylist Amal Qadri accompanied us on our Eid jora hunt — and she helped us put together three looks for different occasions. Win!
A formal ensemble for family day
The first day of Eid tend to be fam-jams and we prefer to wear something traditional and elegant (something the khalas would admire) yet comfy. It's too hot to compromise on the latter!
So walking straight past all the stores stocked up on cotton net kurtas, Amal took us to Generation to pick out a gharara with a cute top.
