Iqra Aziz served with legal notice by her talent agency, denies allegations

Casting director and the owner of the agency Citrus Talent, Fahad Hussain has accused television actress Iqra Aziz of breaching her exclusivity contract.

Hussain, whose lawyer, Saifullah Sachwani has served Aziz with a legal notice for payment of damages, took to social media (Facebook and Instagram) to explain his side of the story sharing that she signed up for a project through Maida Azmat of Mint PR and Image Consultancy “despite the fact that Iqra and Maida were repeatedly reminded about the contractual obligations of Iqra towards Citrus Talent.”

According to Fahad, an 8-page contract has been signed between the two parties, stating that “Citrus Talent had the exclusive rights to represent Iqra Aziz for all engagement, bookings, etc. for television commercials and print shoots for products.”

Azmat has also been served a notice for "tortious interference and inducing Iqra Aziz to breach exclusivity contract."

The Mol actress has now come forth denying all such allegations and has sent Citrus Talent a legal notice in response stating "I have been in the industry long enough to know how to do fair business and I am not one to shy away from the truth. The legal system is something I have deep faith in and I will receive the justice I deserve through a Court of Law. For reference, I have attached the legal notice that has been sent as a reply.”

She alleged that Fahad never provided her with a copy of the “so-called agreement” that she breached and used to “delay my rightful payments for many months on the pretext that he doesn’t have ‘money these days.'”

Wait, it isn't over yet.

In response to Iqra's response, Hussain again posted on social media, twice calling her "thankless" and that he will see her at their High Court hearing scheduled for 22 May, 2018.
