Mark Hamill doesn't know what The Witcher is but he wants to be on the show

We've been excited about a TV show based on videogame The Witcher coming to Netflix.

The show, rumoured to be based more on the books than the video games, has been in talks for a while, with writer Lauren Hissrich, known for her work in Daredevil, Justice, Defenders and many more. Hissrich has having already submitted the script for the pilot.

While there is no confirmed cast and only speculations on who will play lead character Geralt, Twitter has already figured out who should play Vesemir.

Lauren describes the loyal companion's character as fatherly," "wise," "sprightly," and "ancient." He is also a historian, known as the keeper of secrets. Sounds familiar? It certainly did to Twitter, who found him to have an uncanny resemblance to Luke Skywalker.

Soon after, the idea of Mark Hamill taking on the role of Vesemir started making rounds. And guess what? Hamill is all for it!

And Lauren Hissrich could not control her excitement. We don't blame her!

Lets just say, everyone from team Witcher is on board as well.

We're still excited to see who'll play the lead in The Witcher TV show but if Mark Hamill's a part of it we're good!

Mark Hamill has made himself iconic with roles like Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars series and also The Joker from Batman: The Animated Series. We're pretty sure that Hamill is going to own this role as well.
