The trailer for Aamina Sheikh and Sanam Saeed's Cake is out now

The teaser for upcoming family drama Cake is out.

While it gives away little about the film, the beautifully shot teaser draws you in with glimpses of the cast's effortless performance and scenic locales. Watch the teaser here:

Directed by Asim Abbasi, Cake stars Aamina Sheikh and Sanam Saeed as sisters, while Adnan Malik, Mohammed Ahmed and Beo Zafar also play prominent roles. Faris Khalid and Hira Hussain will feature as narrators of the film.

The teaser leaves us with several questions about Cake's story, like what is it that Sanam is holding back or what is Aaminah struggling to come to terms with?

We'll get those answers when Cake releases on March 30 next year.
