Peshawar kicks off winter with a food and music festival

The newly-constructed Hayatabad food street in Peshawar came alive last weekend, as foodies gathered to celebrate their love for local food and music.

Winters and great food are a straight win any day. This two-day festival combined it with great music and performances to make it even more fun.

With cooking competitions, open mic performances, and talent hunt activities, the festival gave attendees a reason to celebrate the food and culture of the region.

There was a rich array of drool-worthy local delicacies on offer, and people came out in large numbers to enjoy their favourite foods.

Think chapli kabab and koyla karahi!

Customised 7Up blends were also available at the festival.

Around 20,000 people attended the festival, and 300 students from the Dar Al Atfal orphanage were also invited by Peshawar Food Diaries.

In addition to all the food, the event also featured musical performances by Badnaam, Abdullah Qureshi, Sawaal Band, Reet band, and Jehanzaib Bangash.

So much food, great music, and the city coming together to celebrate.

What's not to love?
