Tapu Javeri shot these stunning photos of Pakistan's northern beauty with just a smartphone

What do you think of when you think of Skardu?

Beautiful wilderness, hospitable locals and... a fashion shoot? Not so much, right?

But that's one of the things that happened when ace photographer Tapu Javeri went to Skardu armed with a Huawei Mate 10 Pro.

A portrait on Upper Kachura Lake

The fashion shoot featured the model Mahi, and its hard to believe that the spectacular shots were taken by Tapu using a phone camera only. This was a one-of-a-kind photo shoot in Pakistan, where Tapu managed to capture the beauty and vivid colours of the surroundings and make every single frame mesmerising.

Determined to capture the area's beauty yet still concerned about convenience, the photographer soon realised the Huawei Mate 10 Pro was a great companion when capturing the vivid colours of the landscapes.

Look at that!

Has scenery ever looked more charming? The colours really pop.

Fall inspiration?

As these photos prove, there's just something magical about these lesser-seen parts of Pakistan.

Look at that light!

As he wanted to do more than just photograph fashion, Tapu also took the time to visit with those who lived in the locality, which resulted in some stunning photos.

Portrait photography will never get old

Yep, pretty incredible.

That's Shigar desert in the back!

And here's proof that even if you don't have a live model, this phone can make your photos look prettttttty good...

Travel goals. Right here!

We mean, could anything be more beautiful than Upper Kachura Lake?

A shimmering moon reflecting on the tranquil Lower Kachura Lake. Low light photography made more beautiful

It doesn't hurt that Huawei Mate 10 Pro's dual cameras feature an aperture that takes great low-light images... like this one

We want to be here...

We'll be right back. We're planning our next vacation.

We'd go for the sunlight alone

Don't forget to watch the whole shoot here in this video!
