The best and worst looks from the Punjab Nahi Jaungi premieres

While we liked the movie Punjab Nahi Jaungi (which releases tomorrow!), we're now looking at the red carpet to see who won the style war!

The Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat starrer premiered last night and Karachi was lit up, or at least, one part of it was. A bevy of stars made it out to Nueplex cinemas, dressed to the nines.

Here's our own take on who got it right and who didn't.

Best looks

Sanam Saeed's fun tribal number

This one gets brownie points because it just looks so soft and airy without compromising on style!

Major boho chic vibes right here!

It's a versatile piece that Sanam hasn't dressed up too much, just coupled with some ethnic arm candy which is what landed her on our best dressed list!

Mahira Khan's casual white jumpsuit

While we admit it's more beach than premiere, we're still digging this look on Mahira Khan! Her easy, breezy white jumpsuit is chic but also kind of sultry, without being too revealing.

White's totally her colour

Paired with lots of dainty jewellery, khussas and a straw bag, we want to be waving goodbye to the summer in this outfit!

Syra Shahroz's effortless statement tee and jeans combo

From the fringe to the black loafers to the loud statement tee coupled with distressed jeans, everything about this look screams laidback sass.

Girl we totally get just wanting to kick back in a tee and some denim

Maybe it's a little too fuss-free but honestly, Pakistani movies are long so we don't blame her for choosing to be street style comfortable.

Fahad Mustafa working this dapper blazer

We're liking the slicked back hair and the navy blue and white combo.

The Jeeto Pakistan host has definitely upped his style quotient

Just wish he had worn different shoes!

Worst looks

Mehwish Hayat's green tumboo gown

While the outfit did show off her killer physique a bit, it was just such a dull number.

Shocking because it's a Fahad Hussayn design and we usually love his stuff!

The colour, style, cut — everything about it was uninspiring. Even the material looks like what they use for tents. We've said it before and we'll say it again: Hayat needs a good stylist asap!

Urwa Hocane's OTT lehnga

This outfit was way too heavy. It's a movie premiere, not a mehndi.

While we love the Ali Xeeshan outfit, it just wasn't red carpet appropriate

P.S: If you thought that maybe she wore something better to the Karachi premiere, you'd be wrong.

Ushna Shah's peekaboo dress

Like why do the sleeves even exist?

Even the hemline was unflaterring

We get that the cold shoulder is here to stay but this is just awkward and looks like bad tailoring, not to mention her choice of accessories didn't help in any way either.

Mawra Hocane's confusing sari

This honestly was a grandma print that looked like a kid designed and stitched it together.

Plus the hairdo did her no favours either.
