Daniel Craig signs latest James Bond film?
Seems like the upcoming Bond film may surprise fans.
According to The Mirror, English actor Daniel Craig has had a change of heart and will reprise his role as Bond in upcoming film of the franchise, Bond 25.
In an interview in 2015, the actor expressed disdain at continuing his role in the series after four films as 007. "Now? I’d rather... slash my wrists," he had said. "No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on."
However, latest reports state otherwise. This time he and Adele will both be a part of Bond 25.
A source close to the project told Mirror, "Craig and Adele together are the winning team, the ultimate choice, the money spinners. It’s taken time but Daniel has come round and the strong con–sensus in the Bond offices is that Mr Craig is 007 again. As for Adele, she’s more of an unknown quantity but loved being part of Bond, so the signs are positive.”
That's not the only rumour making rounds. Batman director, Christopher Nolan, is keen on working on a James Bond film. In an interview with Playboy, he expressed his desire to direct the action franchise.
"A Bond movie, definitely. I’ve spoken to the producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson over the years. I deeply love the character, and I’m always excited to see what they do with it. Maybe one day that would work out. You’d have to be needed, if you know what I mean. It has to need reinvention; it has to need you. And they’re getting along very well."
