Fawad and Sadaf get cosy in latest shoot for Masala Magazine

Every Fawad Khan fan wants to know the man behind the celebrity mirage — and his latest interview and shoot just may be the answer.

Fawad and his wife Sadaf posed for a sweet couple's shoot by Abdullah Haris for Masala UAE's May cover — and fans are lapping up the images with relish.

Fawad and Sadaf are often joined at the hip at their public appearances, but this shoot gives a more intimate glance at their life.

The shoot is accompanied by what is said to be a first-of-its-kind interview, where the couple opens up about their private life.

Among the highlights of the interview is Sadaf's admission that she dislikes being overshadowed by her husband's celebrity status.

"I don’t believe in the term ‘star wife’. I am an educated person who has a mind of her own. Sometimes I do feel it’s overwhelming being associated to Fawad because people generally tend to discredit your potential saying, ‘Oh you can do anything because of him.’ You can do a one-time venture that way but unless you have the talent backing it, you can’t make a success of it,” she says.

The couple, who are now parents to son Ayaan and daughter Elayna, also talked about parenting challenges.

“It’s the most amazing and emotional feeling,” says Fawad. “Since this was the second time after Ayaan (his elder son), I was more prepared.”
