Jemima Khan's Halloween costume makes a statement about Donald Trump

Many people would call Donald Trump scary and monstrous after a 2005 video of his lewd comments about women recently resurfaced.

But Jemima Goldsmith (formerly Jemima Khan) may have made the most evocative statement yet.

At the annual UNICEF Halloween Ball, Jemima went dressed as a woman being groped by Donald Trump.

In the 2005 leaked video, Trump is seen boasting in vulgar terms about trying to have sex with an unidentified married woman and groping women, saying “when you're a star, they let you do it”.

Jemima's choice of attire — a body-hugging ivory dress — have caused many to infer that she is assuming the character of Melania Trump, who often sports similar silhouettes.

To really drive the horror home, Jemima was carrying a placard declaring "Make America great again! Trump 2016. Vote on 28th November!!!" reminding us that this man intends to be the next President of the United States.

While Jemima's Halloween statement scored points for virality potential, is it in the best taste? It might just minimise the suffering of women who have come forward with stories of sexual harassment by Trump.
