Shoaib Akhtar demands no singing or dancing on Indian comedy show

Pakistan's Rawalpindi Express may be hosting a comedy show across the border, but he has refused to sing or dance on stage. Stage fright much?

Shoaib Akhar, who will be seen judging Indian comedy show Mazaak Mazaak Mein, has demanded the show producers that he not participate in any singing or dancing on the show, reported Deccan Chronicle.

In fact, the Pakistani cricketer has asked them to include a ‘no dancing and crooning’ clause in his contract.

A source from the set of the show told DC, “He may have been fierce on the field as a cricketer, but shaking a leg on stage gives him jitters. Since it’s a reality show, he thought that the makers might ask him to sing or dance on stage to up the entertainment quotient. So he included the clause to ensure that it doesn’t happen at all.”

The makers of the show feel obliged by Shoaib Aktar's demands.

The show, which was previously tentatively titled Indian Mazak League, will see cricketers Shoaib Akhtar and Harbhajan Singh come together as judges.
