Is Happy Bhag Jayegi an imitation of Runaway Bride?

Sneakers tied and wedding clothes on, the recently released motion poster of Happy Bhag Jayegi is disappointingly close to Hollywood film Runaway Bride.

Momal Sheikh and her father, veteran actor Javed Sheikh are starring in Bollywood film Happy Bhag Jayegi and though anticipation for the upcoming film is running high, the motion poster is a bit of a let down.

Why? Simply because after seeing the first look, we're reminded of rom-com Runaway Bride starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.

We already know this Bollywood production is a rom-com, so will it emulate the hit Hollywood film? We're not sure. All we do know is that Momal will be playing a Pakistani girl in the film and Javed Sheikh will be playing the role of a Pakistani bureaucrat who is Abhay Deol's father, and Momal's father-in-law.

Guess we'll have to wait to find out what the film holds for us. Happy Bhag Jaeygi is expected to hit screens on August 19.
