[Troublemakers] are nobody’s friends. We should ignore them, and keep promoting peace: Shafqat

Shafqat Amanat Ali crossed the border into Bollywood, so he's had plenty of time to reflect on the journey.

His latest song 'Yaari', which features in the film Bachaana, is a product of the collaboration of Indian composer and Pakistan lyricist. How does he see the future of Pak-India cultural exchange?

"Peace talks between India and Pakistan have been taking place for many years. But every time there is a good development, certain incidents happen and it ruins the progress. It is about time we understand that such things happen because the people who cause disruption are paid [to do so]. Those who ruin the peace are nobody’s friends. We should ignore them, and keep promoting harmony," Shafqat said to Hindustan Times.
