Remembering Peshawar: This video may impart the most important lesson to kids today

A short video cuts through the clutter and tells kids what's important to remember today: the will to work for a better Pakistan.

The video imagines a despondent Quaid on December 16, 2014, who can no longer recognise the Pakistan that he had created.

A young girl Zainab assures him, "Quaid, aap nai tou Pakistan bana dia. Aap ke Pakistan ko qaim rakhna humara kaam hai, humari zimadari hai. Aur hum ye karke dekhaye ge! (Quaid, you have created Pakistan. Now, it's our job, our responsibility to help it prosper. And we will succeed!)

A special episode of animated series Quaid Ki Baatein, the video was a welcome effort to reach out to the most vulnerable witnesses of the Army Public School massacre in Peshawar and encourage them to channel their fear and despair into positive, productive work. The video has been produced by Wakhra Studios and directed by its founder Daniyal Noorani.
