K&N’s SmartCooking Recipes: Qeema Macaroni

A delicious blend of minced meat and macaroni cooked with vegetables and savoury sauces, garnished with spring onions.

Ingredients

-K&N’s Stok (1 cube)

-K&N’s Qeema (200g)

-Macaroni (2 cups; boiled)

-Oil (1 tbsp)

-Onion (1 cup; chopped)

-Ginger garlic paste (1 tsp)

-Tomato puree (1 cup)

-Salt to taste

-Red chilli powder (1 tsp)

-Tomato paste (1 tbsp)

-Soy sauce (1 tbsp)

-Chilli sauce (1 tbsp)

-Oyster sauce (1 ½ tbsp)

-Italian seasoning (2 tsp)

-Green bell pepper (¼ cup; chopped)

-Red bell pepper (¼ cup; chopped)

-Sweet corn (¼ cup)

-Spring onion (for garnish)

-Water (1 cup)

Method

1. In a pan heat oil, add half cup onion and cook until translucent.

2. Add ginger garlic paste, K&N’s Qeema and cook for three to four minutes or until it changes colour.

3. Add tomato puree, salt, red chilli powder, tomato paste and K&N’s Stok cube, mix well.

4. Add one cup water, cover and cook on medium flame for five to 10 minutes.

5. Then add soy sauce, chilli sauce, oyster sauce, Italian seasoning and mix.

6. Add boiled macaroni, green bell pepper, remaining half cup onion, red bell pepper, corns; cover and cook on low flame for two minutes.

7. Garnish with spring onion and serve hot.
