I won't rule out working in Pakistan, says Nargis Fakhri

The Rockstar actress says that we are all the same inside and working together is the key to moving forward

We've sent our stars like Ali Zafar, Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan to shine in Bollywood, but is it time for a Bolly star to grace Pakistani screens? Nargis Fakhri appears willing.

The Rockstar actress of Pakistani origins said to IANS, “With Pakistan being in my blood, I would certainly look at opportunities to travel there.”

When asked if she would consider working in the Pakistani entertainment industry, she said, "I’m not the one to rule anything out.”

Fakhri, who made her Hollywood debut in Spy last year, and is currently shooting the biopic Azhar in which she plays the cricketer's second wife, says that she hopes to show that "we are all the same inside and working together is the key to moving forward."

“I believe that as actors, we have a phenomenal platform to spread positivity and influence people in the same way. In a time where there are divides between cultures and races, I would love to use my position to show that we are all the same inside and working together is the key to moving forward,” she said.

Fakhri has two other films going towards completion, Houseful 3 and Banjo.

As expected.. But the sad part is the Pakistani capitalists would never allow the film industry to flourish....Any one to help Ms Fakhri being naturalized Pakistani artiste ?

That's sooo sweeet Nargis. Honestly a fantastic script drama would be a better option rather than a movie. Would love to see you in one

Nargis is a good looking girl but she is not a big star. I prefer Kareena Kapoor or Prianka Chopra to work in Pakistani film. Prianka would have been the best choice for Shoaib Mansoors 'Bol' and Kareena Kapoor would have been perfect for 'Bachana'.
