Glad to see Holi related news in the Dawn... Happy Holi to everyone living across the world. The festival of Holi is not really a religion specific but an occasion to share the love and joy through colors. In India, everyone, regardless of any religion, celebrate the Holi.

As an Indian and Hindu, I strongly feel that we should give up this custom of colouring each other. Apart from wasting water, it also exposes us to chemicals which may very well be harmful. This practice is not there in southern India.

Exchange of greetings on every body's religious or social events can bring love, peace and harmony between the two neighbouring countries. It is good this feeling has started building up.
