Unfortunately this movie does not offer anything. Its direction is poor but it do give the feel good factor to America that look at Pakistan and their third world mentality. Do the people of Pakistan know that this movie is used by the Republicans and Donald trump camp to state that see these guys are our real enemies. It do portray Pakistan as the stone age country. Now i am getting sick and tired of these nominations. Pakistan has tons of short films but Americans just want specific propaganda all the time. These movies just serve the purpose of Conservatives/Republicans for their votebank in America.

She has made phenomenal advances in her education since her arrival in the UK It goes to show how quickly Pakistan would progress if the women of the country were properly educated

@Hasan You are right. This film will not only get nominated but it will surely secure an oscar for reasons you already stated. Please Hollywood! Surprise me. I have supported Malala and her causes but I am seriously getting tired of the world using her as an image for Pakistan women. Pakistan may not a heaven on earth for women but we do get education. We are doctors, engineers, pilots, artists and scientists. We do have careers and we are supported by men in our families. The world needs to stop stereotyping whole Pakistan by one unfortunate incident. I am also tired of Malala for constantly cashing her tragedy. What happened to her happened to other Pakistanis as well when terrorism was its peak. Now the world needs to move on and Malala should focus on her studies. We don't need a constant reminder of our tragic past. Thank you very much.
