Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain are taking new leaps as a married couple by signing on a project together, taking their relationship to a whole other level. The duo will be acting in a murder-mystery called Aik Thi Laila which Hussain will also be directing — a dynamic the couple has been looking forward to.

On Thursday, the Suno Chanda actor reposted her husband’s Instagram post captioned, “FINALLY‼️” It featured Hussain snapping a mirror selfie of them while Aziz half-hid behind a clapperboard.

Hussain had written, “First time directing this superstar” and quoted a line from Bollywood film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, saying it will release soon on Express Entertainment.

The Javed Iqbal actor told Images Aik Thi Laila is being produced by Hina Amaan and features Faysal Quraishi, Gul-e-Rana, Hasan Ahmed, Nayyar Ejaz, Faiza Iftikhar and Fareeha Jabeen. He also revealed that it is scheduled for release in October.

On interacting with his wife in a professional setting, Hussain said, “She is a wonderful actor and a great person to work with.” He added that this is “any director’s dream cast”.

It also looks like the cast members are enjoying time together offscreen. The couple had re-shared Quraishi’s Instagram story with the two families in one frame.
