Korean band BTS has been delivering hit after hit and has collaborated with international artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Halsey, Coldplay and Nicki Minaj. The band's members have also been making waves for their solo work, including singing original soundtracks for K-dramas. The latest member to jump on the OST bandwagon is Jimin who will reportedly be recording his first-ever solo OST for upcoming drama Our Blues for tvN and Netflix.

A source from Yamyam Entertainment — the company in charge of the OST — confirmed that the star will be singing a song for the series that will be releasing on April 9 this year. “Jimin will be participating as an OST (Original Soundtrack) singer for tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama Our Blues. Since world-class group BTS’ Jimin will be joining us, we will energise the drama with a masterpiece OST song that harmonises well with the flow of the story," said the source, as translated by Soompi.

The yet-unnamed song will be featured in the first episode of the show that will air on tvN and will release on Netflix in selected regions. According to the website, Our Blues is an omnibus-style drama that is set in Jeju Island, South Korea that will explore the bitter sad truth of a "diverse array of characters".

The official lineup includes Lee Byung Hun, Shin Min Ah, Han Ji Min, Kim Woo Bin, Lee Jung Eun and Kim Hye Ja. The drama is written by Noh Heeh Kyung who wrote dramas such as Live, Dear My Friends and It's Okay, That's Love.

Other BTS members have also released OSTs for dramas in the recent past. Jin released 'Yours' for drama Jirisan and V's 'Christmas Tree' was released for drama Our Beloved Summer.
