After Peshawar Zalmi's win against the Quetta Gladiators, fans are abuzz about everything that led up to the impressive win and Pakistani Twitter has posted the verdict, calling Shoaib Malik's batting a game saver, grieving over Will Smeed's almost century and churning out Faulkner-Sarfaraz memes to keep the balance of emotions in place.

The PSL has had cricket fans in its grip before it even started and now with the tournament in full swing and the second match over, netizens have swarmed Twitter with memes and their favourite moments.

Netizens claimed the real excitement kicked in in the second PSL match last night.

The summary.

Fans were all praises for Malik's captaincy and batting.

Some even said he "proved age is just a number."

There was a lot of grief about Smeed being stopped at 97, so close to a century.

We had a lot of Sarfaraz-Faulkner memes to add some humour to the mix.

Some just made Sarfaraz memes about the "kismat [fate]" in this game.

Yasir Khan's debut was also the talk of the town.

Fans are waiting for this to happen.

Some were just super happy with how the league has played out till now.

Great job Shoaib Malik. Any chance to announce your retirement from Pakistan cricket team T-20 and give other members an opportunity to shine? Maybe a mentor role in the Pakistan cricket team will be beneficial.

Good to see excellent start . And presentation. This will help in bring up emerging cricketers. Under 19 players performance was ok but dishearten ed to losing to Australia. But good to see emerging players. Request PCB Chairman to welcome and encourage the young under 19 team upon arrival.

@Jacksmith Please stop this discrimination based on age. As long as some person is performing in whatever filed they are then they are fully permitted to perform their duties.

@Jacksmith why should he retire when he is consistently performing, discrimination based on age is pathetic.
