Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao recently got married to fellow Indian actor Patralekhaa on Monday, November 15, after being in a relationship for over a decade.

The couple tied the knot at a resort in Chandigarh. Both actors took to social media to post pictures from their wedding and announce their marriage. "Finally after eleven years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today," wrote Rao in his post. My soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband Patralekhaa. Here’s to forever and beyond."

Patralekhaa too shared her joy on starting this new chapter in their lives. "I got married to my everything today," she wrote."My boyfriend, my partner in crime, my family, my soulmate. My best friend for the last 11 years! There is no greater feeling than to be your wife!"

The outfits and accessories worn by both bride and groom were by Indian brand Sabyasachi.

The bridal dress was personalised with an inscription on the veil created by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee for the couple.

Rao is known for his roles in Bollywood movies such as The White Tiger, Stree and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. The couple starred together in the 2014 drama CityLights.

Why wait 11 years when one knows one has find their soul mate? It is difficult to understand people even if you spend an eternity with them, so why wait, take the plunge.

@M. Saeed why would they need to “fool” anyone and in what way do you think they are fooling others? . It’s not uncommon to have relationships extending over years before people decide to marry

@Queen No wonder divorce rates are high in Pakistan because everyone gets married when they are kids and financially dependent on their parents.
